Memorial Day 2012

Traditions are so important to Blake. We went to Midway to look in the hot pots- something our kids always loved and now Britt's kids love.

This is a hot pot that is so nice that people swim in. We then met Ron's family and Dan and Alicia's family at the cemetery then to Granny's for shakes- it is harder to visit now that our families are so big. We sure love the McMillan's.

(Chris and Kristina)                                    (Ryan and Brittany)
Then we went to Park City to hike up to the mine that Grandpa McMillan use to work in. It was a beautiful day!

(Ashley and Erica) (Jeramy and Kayla) and( Grandpa and Grandma McMillan...Blake and Sheralle.)

Blake's family came too- Blake had a recording of Grandpa McMillan (his Dad) sharing a story about the mine.

Katie said this could be her new house:) We told her it needed a lot of work, she said it was ok because she got tools for her birthday:) I so love children and their attitude!

We the took Chris by and tried to show him the house Ron and Earl had sold for about 30,000 to get through school that is now worth over a million.

Kristina's wedding

Kristian brought home a boyfriend for Thanksgiving this year. The first night we met Chris we had pizza and then went to temple square. We had all been warned to not ask too many questions, or stare, or evaluate, or make him uncomfortable- Kristina was worried we might scare him off.
When we got to temple square Kristina had me take a picture of them and as I was taking it she turned and kissed him. She wanted to see my shocked expression, instead of taking the picture I sat there with my mouth opened and then said do it again, I didn't get the picture. She figured it would produce a funny reaction in me, to see her daughter that didn't like to kiss and had only kissed one other person actually kiss in front of me. Chris is always such a good sport about anything Kristina puts him up too and he is actually the only person she has ever been "in love" with- and she has dated a lot.
We really liked Chris but didn't know him very well. When Blake and I went to bed that night, he said to me, are you ready to plan another wedding? Our daughter that was going to wait until she was 23 or 24 wasn't going to reach that goal. We all knew she was going to marry him before she did- especially her sister's who always seem to be in tune- after talking with her we 3 girls would all talk and they would say- she is so going to marry him. It was so obvious how she felt about him and the impressions she had been getting- she just hadn't put it all together. It was no shock when she told us she was going to marry him. At first they were talking about July, but then moved it up to April. Smart move:) When Chris left for Christmas break she wasn't homesick- she was Chris sick-she missed him so much- she talked to him every night for hours. We warned her she might talk him to death, but he didn't seem to mind.

Kristina flew to Pennsylvania the day after Christmas and met his family. They were such a great family and so accepting of her, she was grateful that he had such a good family.
Chris fits right in with our family too - he loves to eat out- he fits in with Kristina- he loves to eat healthy (most of the time) and he loves to have fun and try new things. We took him repelling and he did great.

Kristina couldn't be happier and we could not have chosen anyone better for her than Chris. We think the world of him, he is such an incredible man!

On April 7, 2012 Christopher John Eberle and Kristina Marie McMillan were sealed for Time and All Eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple. The sealing was amazing - people commented on the incredible things were said there. We met Chris's family the night before and we dearly love them. We think they are great people and they did a fabulous job raising a wonderful, good and righteous son.
