Talents and Graduation

So I signed up for cake decorating classes, thinking because I lived at Brittany's I would have more time. I really didn't have more time but I was forced into finishing because I signed up. The prep and cleanup were miserable, but the creating was fun. I had more pictures but this is all I could find. My first cake was made with the raspberry cream frosting Katie makes so it wasn't too smooth, but it was really good. This was made for Brooke and Erica's birthday Erica's baptism. Erica said she wanted a cake with skittles falling out. This is what I came up with.

The next class Brittany and Mickie took with me. Mickie had just graduated and moved in to Grandpa and Grandma Wheelwright's. The first is mine the next I think was Brittany's and then Mickie's or vice versa. The fondant class Brittany and Katie took with me. Katie is quite talented especially molding fondant. Even though she just turned 11 she did an amazing job. Also during this time Blake sang "Bring Him Home" from Les Mis  at the ward talent show and did an amazing job with almost no practice. Brittany was playing it and talked him to singing with only a couple of times to practice. Ashley performed "This is my fight song" and was asked by Larry Hunsaker to come sing with his band at Cherry Hill as a result, and Erica showed her art project.

Mickie and David both graduated- David choose to Graduate with Mickie's theater class because she was asked to talk/perform and he knew this was only the begining for him. Kansas City University School of Medicine was his next destination.

Carl Wheelwright's old homes

Grandpa (Carl Wheelwright) took us to see the homes he grew up in. The one on he left is his second home. The one directly below is his first home. The one to the right of that is his 3rd home and then below is the coal bin where he got caught telling a lie. He was asked if he had been playing in the coal and he said "NO". His parents knew better, because he was all covered with coal. The final house is the one he spent most of his time in and where I visited my grandparents. His father built most of these homes. The final pictures are Ogden High School and his Old Church building where he gave his mission farewell from before he left to Australia.

March 2016 visit to Ohio

In March we flew to Ohio to spend time with Crystal and Jeramy's family.
Mackson and Kaylin making us their art projects.

Down town Cleveland- trying things from the market place.
Crystal trying a new kind of cup cake. It sure is fun o see our Grand children, I have learned that cupcakes are so children have something to lick frosting off of.

Cleveland Zoo with Mackson and Kaylin. Mackson is always so curious about everything and why. We loved being with them.

Mary-go-round at the Zoo.
One of the Metro Parks in Dayton with Jeramy and Kayla Parker and Hailey.

Dayton has the biggest Air Force Museum.
Jeramy sure loves his children!

Jeramy's School for his Doctorate of Occupational Therapy.

We went to a different zoo with Parker and Hailey.

Crystal's Blazer broke down while we were driving it, miraculously right by the repair place and the repair person was in the parking lot next door and towed us there.

We loved seeing our family!
